Our client, in the Fraser Valley, is currently in need of an Electrical Designer / Drafter to join their team on a contract basis. Possibly an opportunity for a permanent job for the right candidate, depending on business volumes.
Job Duties Include:
Produce detailed electrical AutoCAD drawings for projects
Drawing types shall include all types of electrical project drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, electrical equipment layouts, and logic drawings
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years (post graduate) relevant project engineering experience, ideally in a consulting engineering environment
Certificate or diploma in electrical systems and/or AutoCAD
Requires knowledge of electrical codes (CEC and NEC)
This position will start on a contract basis and has the potential to become a full time / “staff” position based on the candidate’s performance, and the continued workload of the firm
