Are you an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator currently working for a Contractor in North America that just can’t allow you to reach your full potential?

A focused team of some of the provinces top contractors is looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator that is not only looking for a challenge but can hit the ground running with a professional team & top projects on the go! Along with estimating any relevant requirements this team is looking to add a focused leader that will be accountable for all assigned estimates to ensure accurate cost compilation based on tender documents, site conditions, trade specific factors and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the tender response process
• Develop and mentor estimating team members
• Coordinate estimating efforts with functional departments and construction partners.
• Develop and approve estimate plans, budgets, and schedules
• Provide expert guidance and reviews of all estimates and studies.
• Analyze estimating data and correlate to historical and industry data
• Perform high-level confirmation of developed quantities for completeness and reasonableness.
• Work with functional departments and service organization to develop service, labor, and material estimates.
• Review, approve, and issue recommended project cost, contingency, and escalation to be presented to the management review team.
Qualification:
• Demonstrated experience effectively leading multiple estimating efforts concurrently.
• Extensive experience managing cost estimating personnel and processes.
• Excellent software knowledge including Microsoft suite products and estimating software programs
• Familiarity with a variety of complex estimating concepts, practices, and procedures including conceptual estimating, cost analysis, mathematical skills, and project design scopes is preferred.
• Knowledge of civil construction is helpful as is prior knowledge working in petrochemical, plant construction, mining, refinery, oil, gas, power, and pipeline construction.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• 15+ years of overall heavy civil experience (experience concentrated in heavy civil (earthworks, deep underground and concrete and estimating is preferred)
• Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, PMT Graduate, CET with considerable field experience.
